Will Masking Be Making A Comeback? – It Already Has In Some Counties

Los Angeles County’s weekly rate of new cases also rose to 185 per 100,000 residents, which the CDC considers to be a “medium risk.” As a result, LA County has reinstated its COVID-19 mask mandates. Many believe that LA County is making too much over the situation. While people are testing positive for COVID-19 in the area, the hospital beds in the county are not being largely filled with COVID-19 patients. For the CDC to consider the virus to be at a “medium” risk, 10% of total hospital beds would need to be filled with COVID-19 patients, however, only a total of 5.6% of hospital beds are occupied with patients who’ve tested positive for the virus.

When asked, Dr. Fauci has been fleeing questions on masking. While he’s stated that he does not oppose masking for the virus, even in late 2022, he fumbles when asked about the effectiveness of wearing masks to stop the spread of the virus, and also can not point to any studies showing that the masks have been effective.

“He was asked what studies or study changed his mind in that interim, which is what he claimed—he claimed that it was studied. He couldn’t name any,” Jenin Younes, one of the lawyers in the case against the White House and Dr. Fauci, told The Epoch Times. Fauci has not made a follow-up statement, and has not cited any studies since that prove masking as an effective method of preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

The COVID-19 vaccines, as we know. do not prevent illness or transmission, Washington Post recently admitted that vaccinated Americans are the majority of COVID-19 deaths – the White House and CDC have since spun the story and said that the majority of deaths are in people who “have not gotten caught up on their booster shots,” however, they still have received the vaccine and potentially even a handful of boosters. Nearly no Americans have had multiple (in some cases, as much as five or six) booster shots. Statistically, of course, the majority of COVID-19 deaths are in patients who are not caught up on their boost shots since Americans who are caught up are essentially non-existent. Instead of looking at Americans who haven’t had nearly ten shots in two years for the same virus, we should be looking into why the amount of COVID-19 treatments are unavailable to many, along with questioning why we are still relying on a vaccine that doesn’t prevent transmission, illness, or death.

ABC’s Martha Raddatz discussed on her show, ABC’s World News Tonight, that no one is getting the multiple boosters and CDC-recommended vaccines, saying:

“Only about 11% have gotten the booster so far, maybe 42 million the flu shot. We’ve talked about this so many times. People aren’t listening. What do you do?” she asked

Fauci was forced to testify for roughly seven hours on Nov. 23 due to a lawsuit from the Republican attorneys general of two states that named him part of a lawsuit alleging Fauci and other White House officials leaned on social media companies to censor debate surrounding COVID-19, masking, vaccines, and the differing opinions of Dr. Fauci – including the opinions of Dr. Robert Malone. During the seven-hour testimony, Fauci gave answers that stirred controversy. Statements such as, “…it might be wrong or taken out of context. So, I prefer not to comment on that,” along with dodging questions about his personal royalties added to the controversy surrounding Fauci.

Fauci has come out and said that he will be stepping down from multiple positions at the end of the year, including his positions in the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, as well as stepping down from his role as the chief of the NIAID Laboratory of Immunoregulation and Chief Medical Advisor to multiple Presidents.
