Biden Thanks Coast Guard For Hurricane Heroics – Fires Him Days Later Due To Vaccine Policy

President Biden called and thanked U.S. Coast Guard for his efforts in rescuing people during the Category 5 storm, Hurricane Ian. Days later, Coast Guard Technician Second Class Zach Loesch would be fired due to not complying with the arbitrary COVID-19 vaccine mandates. Loesch is among service members who are due to be discharged within 30 to 60 days.

This comes not even a month after President Biden appeared on 60 Minutes, saying that COVID-19 is no longer in the pandemic stage. Democrats have consistently pumped the brakes on their COVID-19 hysteria whenever elections are approaching or they’re losing appeal among voters.

However, despite going to 60 Minutes and attempting to ease Americans’ worries over COVID-19, the Biden Administration still believes that active service members, as well as other professions, deserve to lose their careers as a result of not complying with vaccine mandates.

According to FOXNews.com:

President Biden thanked a U.S. Coast Guard rescue swimmer for saving lives as Hurricane Ian battered Florida, a service member who will be discharged for not having a COVID-19 vaccine, according to a report.

“I told him how proud of him I was and thanked him for all the work he and his Coasties are doing to save lives,” Biden said of his call with Loesch in remarks the White House published Friday.

Despite his heroics during the storm and the phone call from the president, Loesch told Breitbart that he is among the service members due to be discharged in 30 to 60 days for not getting the COVID-19 vaccine.Loesch said that he had submitted a request for religious accommodation, which was denied, and an appeal, which also was denied.

In September, a lawsuit was filed against the Coast Guard and other government agencies on behalf of a class of over 1,200 service members seeking religious exemptions from the Pentagon’s COVID-19 vaccination mandate. It alleges that the Coast Guard is “categorically denying virtually all” religious accommodation requests. A Coast Guard spokesperson previously denied that any members have been penalized for seeking religious accommodations.

The Biden Administration would gladly remove heroes from their line of service, whether it be Loesch, who is a resume swimmer and risked his own life to save others during a category 5 hurricane – police officers at a time where we have a shortage of law enforcement and surging crime rates – doctors – nurses, who get fired by the thousands in states like New York – and several other fields where assisting others is the main priority.

Loesch would appear on a Florida station, WFLA-TV, where he described his efforts to save people during Hurricane Ian, “I’m just trying to smile and be happy and show up to them as a light at the end of their dark day,” Loesch said. “A lot of them are desperate and need help and in despair. Everything they know is gone, and when they’re leaving with us it may be the last time they see their house.”

Heroes like Loesch don’t deserve this treatment. Similar to how nurses were constantly called our “front like heroes”, then, thrown out by the thousands due to not complying with vaccine mandates, their story is like Loesch’s. Politicians will gladly thank them and tout them as heroes while they’re actively needed, but then when they don’t comply, they’re thrown away as soon as possible.

It’s no wonder why the military is struggling to recruit – when one day you can have enough heroic efforts to warrant a call from the President of the United States, then, just days later the ruling of his administration can have you fired.
