There’s a new form of violence in Democrats’ vocabulary.
Democratic Rep. Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts took to social media to push President Biden to universally cancel student debt for U.S. college students and graduates. Reporting on her own canvassing efforts, Pressley said allowing student debt to continue was a form of violence.
“Let’s make it plain: student debt is policy violence,” Pressley wrote. “We’ll keep fighting to relieve families across the country, to make sure our policies & budgets reflect their lived experiences & that we build this grassroots movement to #CancelStudentDebt together.”
Today, over 43 million people in the U.S. are crushed under more than $1.7 trillion in student loan debt.
This fall, the A-Team led our first ever deep canvassing efforts w/our neighbors across the #MA7 to hear how this crisis impacts our communities. This is what we learned🧵

Pressley, a member of the far-left “Squad,” explained that her team was involved in what she called “deep canvasing” – speaking with local constituents about student debt cancellation and their financial security.

Funny thing, many have worked hard and paid off their student loans over many years. This is ethical and moral. If you signed the contract, you should pay your debt instead of expecting already overburdened working folks to pay for you! Very anti American to expect a break, especially now as our country is in so much trouble financially. Apparently the ” squad” stand only for criminality and low moral standong.
Send them back to tje gutter where they obviously belong!
Squaw Squad! GIME,GIME,GIME,GIME,GIME!!
The Squaw Squad are all changelings from the 8th Dimension.
Fully agree withBbear18. This is a matter of equity. The borrowers, entered into an agreement. It’s payback time. The repayment terms can be negotiated, but not the debts themselves. Jay Jarrell

I’d bet that Rep. Pressley would not be so anxious about cancelling the debt incurred by the students themselves if she were on the lending side of that equation. You sign the papers; you pay it back. It’s that simple. Some lessons are hard learned.
No do not cancel student debt. This is a step in reality for those who sign contract an say they will repay it are responsible enough to work to pay off credit they received to get a education an a career otherwise thousand would never been have been able to go to college. This is also one more democrats slap in face to taxpayers who work an pay there debts.
