Dem Compares Anti-Maskers to Kabul Terrorists, GOP Responds

The battle over mask mandates continues even as American Marines are killed in the fallout of the Biden Administrations withdrawal from Afghanistan. Barack Obama’s Secretary of Education called out anti-maskers as being the equivalent of the terrorists who killed 13 US Marines in Afghanistan.

On Sunday morning, former President Barack Obama’s Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan, compared Americans who oppose getting vaccinated or wearing masks to the Islamic terrorists who attacked Kabul airport and killed 13 members of the United states military.

Duncan tweeted, “Have you noticed how strikingly similar both the mindsets and actions are between the suicide bombers at Kabul’s airport, and the anti-mask and anti-vax people here? They both blow themselves up, inflict harm on those around them, and are convinced they are fighting for freedom.”

The fallout from the administrations Afghanistan withdrawal has come at the cost of several Americans and countless Afghans. Despite this, many on the left are using these deaths as political fuel on other issues.
