President Joe Biden is facing a massive crisis at the southern border as migrants are crossing in such high numbers many have to be let go while others are kept in what is being described as inhumane conditions. Joe Biden’s $6 trillion budget will not be going towards this crisis, instead other agencies like the EPA will see massive increase in its budget.

From the Daily Caller:

Republican Missouri Rep. Jason Smith said Sunday that President Joe Biden’s $6 trillion budget offers a “zero percent increase” in funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) despite a growing border crisis.

“This budget that President Biden released a week ago Friday … provides $69 trillion of spending over 10 years, $6 trillion of spending just this year, but they couldn’t find one additional dollar for the border wall, let alone a zero percent increase for [DHS] when we’re facing the border crisis?” Smith asked during an interview on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.”

Smith claimed that since Biden became president on Jan 2o, “more people have illegally crossed the southern border than the entire population of Kansas City, Missouri.”

The congressman, who’s a ranking member of the House Budget Committee, noted that this budget is the first released by the Democrats since California Rep. Nancy Pelosi became House speaker. “And as Nancy Pelosi said a budget is a statement of their values and clearly by this budget it shows that they have very little concern for our men and women in uniform.”

America is facing a series of looming economic disasters, interest rates are at 0% and inflation is coming fast, the national debt is out of control, and household debt is only growing. Unrealistic budgets like this only serve to score points politically, they don’t fix issues and they do not preserve the future.
