California’s proposed Ethics Studies Curriculum calls for the “Decolonization” of American, a ‘Counter-Genocide” against white Christians, and has students chant to the Aztec God of Human Sacrifice.

The co-chair of this curriculum, R. Tolteka Cuauhtin, has described the United States as ‘Eurocentric, White Supremacist, capitalist, patriarchal, heteropatriarchal, and anthropocentric”. The term ‘anthropocentric’ is particularly interesting, the term means that human beings are central to everything and above all other things such as animals or gods. The use of this term in his list would imply that being anthropocentric is problematic and akin to being a white supremacist.

This curriculum was brought to the attention of the public by Christopher F. Rufo of the City Journal who published all of his findings on Twitter:

Here is a link to Rufo’s full report in the magazine.

California Governor Gavin Newsom vetoed a bill that would require ethics courses in all schools and make them mandatory for students, knowing that this would be the content of the said course many are now praising his decision.
