Hillary Clinton and Pelosi Promote Debunked Trump-Russia Conspiracy Theory

Hillary Clinton invited Nancy Pelosi on her podcast to promote the now-debunked conspiracy theory that Trump had colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election. On this episode of her podcast, You And Me Both With Hillary Clinton, the conspiracy was taken further and Clinton suggested that Putin had ordered Trump to let rioters lay siege to the Capitol building on January 6th. Here is the clip from her podcast:

The idea that Trump was ordered by Putin to allow rioters into the capitol is totally baseless and has no merit what so ever. Many on the left still suggest that Trump is in the pocket of Russian President Vladimir Putin despite the total lack of evidence and suggestion that it may in fact have been Hillary Clinton who engaged in a pay for play scheme with the Russians.
The scandal referred to above is known as the Uranium One scandal, it involved the sale of US Uranium mining rights to a company connected to the Russian Government. The revelations related to the scandal came out in a book by Peter Schweizer titled “Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich”. The Story suggests that Clinton, who at the time of the Uranium One deal was the head of the State Department, allowed the sale of uranium mining rights to go through in exchange the Clinton Foundation took in donations from other Russian companies and Bill Clinton received large speaking fees form other Russian Groups.
The donations and speaking fees are real and the Clinton Foundation even admitted that they made a mistake in taking them. What was never proven in this scandal is if the donations and deal were connected in a way that would be illegal.
