The recent death of Dolal Idd at the hands of police officers has resulted in more violent protests in Minneapolis. The incident that served as a catalyst for the protests involved Dolal Idd who is alleged to have tried to ram his vehicle into officers before firing off a handgun and was subsequently shot and killed by those police officers.
The Body camera footage from the initial incident was released and it clearly showed Idd shooting first, however many activists claim that the video was edited and is ultimately inconclusive.
They’re still going to protest against the officer-involved shooting in Minneapolis; despite it being clear on bodycam that the man attempted to ram officers with a vehicle; and then fired a handgun at police, prior to officers returning fire.pic.twitter.com/jh4KHKEE3O

As part of the protests a Somali flag was raised over a gas station in place of an American flag, an American flag that some believe was taken down at the time to be replaced by the new flag. This caused many online to comment on the matter, John Miller from CRTV had one of the better takes:
They come here, they plant their flag on our soil, and what do we do? We applaud it as part of the “great American melting pot” instead of the attempt to conquer the whole of America. No civilization has ever cheered over its own demise and survived. https://t.co/YFkTONJnxo
