Hillary Clinton was selected to be an elector for New York and took to Twitter to gloat about the experience. In her tweet, she condemned the Electoral college and suggested dismantling it, but went on to say that she was proud to cast her ballot for Joe Biden.
I believe we should abolish the Electoral College and select our president by the winner of the popular vote, same as every other office.
But while it still exists, I was proud to cast my vote in New York for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. pic.twitter.com/th9qebu9ka

The Electoral College was created with the intention of giving everyone in the country a say as opposed to massive population centers when it comes to the federal government. The founders intended this and the idea of decentralization can be found throughout the Constitution. The effort by the left to undo this is a part of their continued effort to reshape the country in a new progressive image.
