Children going missing is, unfortunately, more common than you might think, Children go missing all the time and they are rarely reunited with their families. This story is different though, the DOJ moved swiftly to recover 27 missing children in a span of 5 days. More from the Daily Wire:
In a press release, the Department of Justice announced that “Operation Find Our Children” had found 27 missing children and had confirmed the location of six additional children who had been previously reported as missing but were found with their legal guardians. It is unclear what led to the initial missing report of these six children.
“I can think of no more critical or satisfying mission for a law enforcement officer, than rescuing an endangered child,” said Nick E. Proffitt, U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Virginia. “This operation brought together a formidable team that was, and is, determined to come to the aid of our youth and bring to justice those among us that choose to prey on these vulnerable children. I am proud of the Deputy Marshals in the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia and their partners for the work they accomplished this week – and the results speak for themselves; these 27 children are safe once again. I am deeply humbled and highly honored that our team in Eastern Virginia is a continuing part of this critical Marshals Service mission. We want the missing children across this great nation to know the U.S. Marshals Service will never stop looking for you, we will find you.”
The operation was conducted with the help of U.S. Marshals from the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, as well as members of the U.S. Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, and police officers and detectives from multiple federal, state, and local agencies. Another 50 employees of the Virginia Department of Social Services and medical professionals and experts from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children aided in the operation as well.
This is a great story and one that serves as a reminder that not all hope is lost. The DOJ and FBI have stepped up the effort to combat human trafficking under the Trump administration. The unfortunate reality is however that this is not the happy ending most families get, however things are looking better and this administration is doing what it can to move forward and do good.
I know of a recent case where the mother accused the father of possible sexual abuse by either him or his step son. The mother was awarded custody for six months of her two girls. Then they went back to father every other week. After about two weeks of back and forth, mother’s tires were slashed. Mother accused father. Next after about two months sharing daughters, it was time for a wellness check during one of his times with them and he missed it. Mother notified and arranged for girls for next day and told him to get them there. He did and she showed up and they said daddy bad. They were sent with him anyway. Next he accused mother of sexual abuse of girls. Now she does not have them until court in January. They were physically removed from her arms and sent with him even though they said daddy bad and the one had a thumbprint like bruise on her butt.
Plenty of kids being freed but no adults are being named or arrested?
Praise God the kids are being saved but … the cabal continues?
Glad to see the Attorney General, DoJ and FBI still exist. Now where are all of those indictments, Attorney General Barr? Where is that criminal investigation of our recent election FBI Director Wray? Where is the DoJ?
ALL OF THEM MISSING IN ACTION AND PRESUMED COOPTED BY THE DEMOCRATS
childrens some time become victims of their evil parents and family members and do not forget the failure of the goverment to protect them. the goverment does not provide the resouces that they need to keep them save, our goverment is good at protecting people that break the law and come ilegaly but when it come to our citizen we are last. what a bunch of crap any coments.
