A conservative activist was assaulted over a week ago in Berkley, California. He even caught the assaulter’s face on tape. So why are there no arrests? The Free Beacon reports:
Ten days after a conservative activist on the campus of University of California, Berkeley was punched in the face by an angry passer-by, there has still been no arrest made.
University spokesman Roqua Montez said Thursday the police investigation was still underway, and he confirmed reports that the suspect in the on-camera assault of Hayden Williams, a Leadership Institute field representative, is not a student at Berkeley.
“The suspect is not affiliated with the university,” he told the Washington Free Beacon in an email. “We want to be absolutely certain that the case is solid. We’re simply doing our due diligence to achieve that end.”
The university had initially said Tuesday the investigation had been completed and the department was “seeking a felony warrant from the Alameda County District Attorney for the identified suspect.” However, the Alameda County District Attorney’s office told the Free Beacon that day “the matter has not yet been formally submitted for consideration of charging and the investigation is ongoing.”
California has devolved into a state of anarchy for conservatives, where the entire system is controlled by Democrats and equal justice is refused for those who disagree.
