The Green Party candidate for the Arizona Senate seat has dropped out and endorsed Democrat Krysten Sinema. The Daily Caller reports:
Arizona Green Party candidate for U.S. Senate Angela Green announced Thursday she is dropping out of the race and endorsing Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema.
The decision comes just five days before Tuesday’s midterm elections and one day after a Fox News poll of likely voters revealed Sinema in a tie with her Republican opponent Rep. Martha McSally.
Green had gathered about 6 percent of the vote before dropping out, according to 12 News, and the endorsement could swing her voters toward Sinema.
“I want them to vote for a better Arizona, and that would be for Kyrsten Sinema,” Green told 12 News Thursday.
This is a big upset that could prove the tipping balance in a razor thin race. It remains to be seen if the Libertarian Party candidate will do likewise and endorse McSally.
WOW! Kyrsten Sinema belongs in a dog house, not in Congress. Arizona really needs to get out and vote for Marth McSally. Sinema will bring more crime and less jobs for people in Arizona. Sinema is a disaster! Vote for Marth McSally!
Let’s hope the Libertarian Party candidate will do likewise and endorse McSally.
A Socialist backing a Socialist? How amazing.
Well I hope they have more sense than that! McSally is clearly the best leader for AZ.
