The Jesuits have dropped their endorsement of Kavanaugh, in another leftist turn by this liberal organization within the Catholic Church. The Daily Caller reports:
A national magazine published by the Jesuits of the U.S. declared in an article by its editors that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination “should be withdrawn” after testimony from Kavanaugh and his accuser Christine Blasey Ford Thursday.
“We recognize that this nomination is no longer in the best interests of the country,” the editors wrote in America: The Jesuit Review. “While we previously endorsed the nomination of Judge Kavanaugh on the basis of his legal credentials and his reputation as a committed textualist, it is now clear that the nomination should be withdrawn.”
Kavanaugh has highlighted his Catholic faith during the confirmation process and attended Georgetown Preparatory School, a Jesuit high school, according to Fox News. Ford testifiedthat Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while the two were in high school.
The editors admitted that they had no “special insight” into whether the allegations are reality.
This is particularly ironic considering the mass coverup of pedophile priests.
