Marsha Blackburn’s Democrat opponent called for her to “jump off a bridge”. The Daily Caller reports:
Democratic congressman Steve Cohen told a group of pastors last month that he hopes Republican congresswoman Marsha Blackburn jumps off a bridge.
Cohen, a representative from Tennessee, made the comments at a community prayer breakfast at the Broadway Baptist Church in Memphis. The breakfast was hosted by former Gov. Phil Bredesen, who is running for U.S. Senate against Blackburn.
“The big orange president …. He’s going to come down here and he is going to endorse Marsha Blackburn, because Marsha Blackburn, if he says, ‘Jump off the Harahan Bridge,’ she’ll jump off the Harahan Bridge,” Cohen said, according to audio obtained by the Huffington Post.
Cohen added, “I wish he’d say that.”
Whether this was a comment made in jest or not, it will probably hurt his chances at the general election.
Him first.
A “prayer breakfast”? To whom, Satan their prince?
May as well be for Jesus Christ does not condone such actions, and therefore probably was not invited to their “prayer”.
SINCE WHEN DO COMMUNISTS PRAY ??????? VIETNAM VET
Exactly WHEN is this guy going to get a visit from the Secret Service? First he encourages an attack on our President, & now he wishes for the death of a US Representative? While she’s won Tennessee’s nomination to run for the Senate, she is, & will be, the Rep from Tn until the winners of the mid term elections are sworn in, sometime in Jan. This man is a disgrace to the great state of Tennessee, where I happen to live. At the very least, he should be FORCED to resign.
Hopefully, someone will challenge Cohen’s seat. He’s not the most popular person in Memphis. He’s just had that seat so long that he thinks he owns it.
