FBI official Peter Strozk has lost his security clearance, according to Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
Sessions, during an interview with conservative talk show host Howie Carr, revealed the measure was taken in the midst of an internal disciplinary review.
“Mr. Strzok, as I understand, has lost his security clearance,” Sessions said.
Strzok came under fire for texts he exchanged with former FBI agent Lisa Page during the 2016 election, in which the pair criticized Trump.
