Native American said THIS to Elizabeth Warren

A Cherokee woman criticized Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren for delving into “racist stereotypes” to defend her claims that she has Native American heritage.

Rebecca Nagle, a mixed woman of Cherokee heritage, slammed Warren for doubling down on her alleged Cherokee background after President Donald Trump referred to her as “Pocahontas” at a ceremony earlier this week in a Wednesday op-ed for Think Progress.

“In defending her supposed Native identity, Warren has drawn from both racist stereotypes and easily refutable stories about her family. At a 2012 press conference, Warren stated that her family knew her grandfather was ‘part’ Cherokee because ‘he had high cheekbones like all of the Indians’,” Nagle wrote.
