Donald Trump pledged that those in his administration who are leaking sensitive information will be “prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
In a statement Thursday, the president said he has asked the Department of Justice to launch “a complete review” into leaks, which he finds “deeply troubling” because they pose “a grave threat” to national security.
“These leaks have been going on for a long time and my Administration will get to the bottom of this,” Trump said in the statement. “I am asking the Department of Justice and other relevant agencies to launch a complete review of this matter, and if appropriate, the culprit should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
Attorney General Jeff Sessions echoed Trump’s outrage over leaks in a separate statement: “I share the president’s deep concern and talked to Home Secretary Rudd yesterday about this matter. These leaks cannot be tolerated and we will make every effort to put an end to it. We have already initiated appropriate steps to address these rampant leaks that undermine our national security.”
Until obama and hillary are in prison it’s all talk.
Whoever is leaking this classified information is a traitor. Catch, prosecute and jail them. I hope they aren’t Democrats who still can’t get over losing, now they will lose their freedom and be prosecuted for treason, as they should be. As anyone should be regardless of party period.
I stand with President Trump, always. He’s got this. They are not going to win. God Bless Donald J. Trump and God Bless America
WHAT IS WRONG WITH SOME OF OUR PEOPLE THAT WANT OUR PRESIDENT GONE FROM OFFICE?
if they are a current employee with a security clearance bring them in and put the on the polygraph. They can do that to people with a security clearance at any time and no court order necessary. If they refuse then terminate their employment and escort them from the building Immediately. Pull all of their clearances and prepare an investigation of them.
absolutely when you have a security clearance you give up those rights and can be subject to a test at anytime
