Jared Fogle, the former Subway spokesman who pleaded guilty to paying for sex with a minor and child pornography charges in 2015, has listed President Trump as a respondent on a petition for a writ of habeas corpus, according to a report.
Fogle reiterates in his petition how he should never have admitted to committing the offenses, per the court documents obtained by TMZ.
A writ for habeas corpus is used to bring a prisoner or detainee before a court to determine whether their imprisonment or detention is lawful.
While the civil legal action is usually taken against a warden, Fogle also included Trump as a respondent.
